Blue Winds
When Blue Winds performs, their music transcends the ordinary, transporting listeners on a profound voyage across land, sea, and spirit. Each performance is an invitation to reconnect with forgotten realms and ancestral truths, facilitating deep healing and awakening. Their unique fusion of voices and instruments cultivates an environment where the soul can breathe, expand, and re-align with its highest potential, making Blue Winds a beacon for those seeking spiritual renewal through music.
At the heart of Blue Winds is the ethereal and angelic voice of Caitlin Alexander, whose melodies are deeply inspired by her Irish, Nordic, and Eastern European heritage. Through her sacred vocals, she channels the energies of Lemuria, weaving them into songs that serve as gateways to ancient realms and ancestral wisdom.
Partnering with Caitlin is her husband, Sebastien Marconato, a master multi-instrumentalist renowned for his intricate soundscapes. Sebastien’s artistry spans a rich array of healing instruments, including globally sourced flutes, N'goni, keys, and other culturally significant sounds that evoke a sense of sacred travel. His compositions act as a sonic tapestry that anchors the celestial melodies, creating immersive aural landscapes.
Bards of Avalon
The Bards of Avalon, Bea Martin and David Johnson, are dear friends who were my guides to Glastonbury in 2018. I call them "the double-headed dragon" because of the seamlessness and joy of their interbeing.
Bea and David are sound alchemists. Celia Fenn, who invited them to South Africa to harmonize the land by singing in the whales, called them “the grid harmonizers.” Profoundly cognizant of the impact of vibration on all of life, they live from joy. Aware of the forces of chaos, division and destruction challenging human existence, they employ each waking moment to infuse every act with the highest of intentions and vibrations. Known throughout Europe, the stories are legion of the impact their water blessings have on both water, the groups they conduct, and the communities they visit.
The Bards of Avalon wish people to know their ceremony will not be a performance. It will be a collective honoring and empowering of a water tributary that flows into the Rio Grande, then into the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Water merges with water everywhere. The power of blessing is amplified when everyone participates.
The Bards ask that you bring a totem of your intention to anchor the world you want to create: a glass of water from your house, a poem you might recite, a flower, a musical instrument (drum, rattle, guitar), a song, a dance, a stone, a crystal. . . .
